The HydroLOGIC desktop application can assist cotton growers and consultants to: Predict crop growth for a range of water allocations – strategic planning Schedule the first irrigation Ask ‘What if’ questions - scenario analysis: timing of irrigations eg “what if I delay irrigating this field to stretch water?” amount of water – ‘what will the crop yield with an extra 2ML/ha?’ Benchmark water use calculate field water use indices for the season compare fields, farms and seasons The HydroLOGIC downloads contain application upgrades, a help manual and additional information to assist with using HydroLOGIC. The HydroLOGIC application was developed by CSIRO and the Cotton Catchment Communities CRC, although due to funding cuts this application is no longer supported.
